Rivers of the World 2020

Artworks created with middle school children for ‘Rivers of the World’, an international art and education project delivered by Thames Festival Trust in partnership with the British Council. The two-year programme involved the pupils learning about their local river in the first year and learning about a river in another country in the second.

This is the result of the workshop in 2020 that focused on the Karamana river in Kerala, India. It was entirely conducted online and was crafted only to use household objects due to the limitations of materials and accessibility posed by the pandemic.
